I was inspired by this picture book to write this poem.

“WHEN YOU LOVE AND MISS YOUR SISTER”

When you love and miss your sister

who is thousands of miles away

you’d want to send your love in some special way

when you know her birthday is coming up soon

then you would come up with a plan

and ask your other sister to help with that plan

the two of you spend time creating it

you use all your skills and your favorite music

and have fun doing it

when it’s time to celebrate her birthday

you post your creation for her to see!
